Ingredient highlights

enfinity® Paraxanthine

rhythm uses Enfinity® Paraxanthine, a patented, isolated form of paraxanthine, the primary metabolite produced when the body breaks down caffeine.

Paraxanthine has emerged as a distinct approach to energy and performance. Instead of relying on the body to first convert caffeine into paraxanthine, Parasync delivers the molecule directly. This makes it particularly relevant for the Active Phase, where focus, alertness and physical performance matter.

Its effects have been investigated in multiple randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical trials, with research supporting its role in alertness, sustained attention, cognitive performance, reaction time and physical performance. Clinical research has also examined its effects on thermogenesis and fat oxidation.

For rhythm, ingredient selection starts with evidence. We chose paraxanthine because it is a well-characterized, clinically studied molecule with research across both cognitive and physical performance, giving Parasync a clear scientific foundation beyond conventional stimulant formulations.

MitoBurn® L-BAIBA

rhythm uses MitoBurn® L-BAIBA, a patented, standardized form of L-β-Aminoisobutyric Acid (L-BAIBA), a naturally occurring exercise-derived metabolite released by skeletal muscle during physical activity.

L-BAIBA acts as a metabolic signalling molecule, communicating with tissues throughout the body to support the adaptive responses associated with exercise. Rather than simply stimulating energy expenditure, L-BAIBA supports pathways involved in fat oxidation, mitochondrial adaptation, metabolic flexibility and post-exercise recovery.

Its effects have been investigated in human and preclinical research, including studies examining systemic absorption, metabolic adaptation and exercise-related pathways. Human pharmacokinetic research has demonstrated dose-dependent increases in plasma L-BAIBA following oral administration of MitoBurn®.

For rhythm, ingredient selection starts with evidence. We chose MitoBurn® because it is a patented, highly characterized form of L-BAIBA with human research supporting its absorption and a clear biological role in exercise-related metabolic signaling.

Deltatonin® Corilagin

rhythm uses Deltatonin®, a patented longan flower extract from Dimocarpus longan, standardized for corilagin and selected for its role in supporting the body's natural melatonin biosynthesis pathway.

Rather than supplying melatonin directly, the extract supports the biological pathway involved in the body's own melatonin production. Research has investigated its effects across in-vitro, animal and human studies, including its influence on enzymes involved in melatonin biosynthesis such as TPH1, DDC, AANAT and ASMT.

Human clinical research reported increases in serotonin and melatonin levels, alongside improvements in validated sleep-quality measures following supplementation. In the study cited in the product research, sleep-quality improvement was observed from Day 3 and further improvements were reported with continued use.

For rhythm, ingredient selection starts with evidence. We chose Deltatonin® because it is a patented, clinically studied botanical that works with the body's own melatonin biosynthesis pathway, making it a natural fit for the Recovery Phase.

WHY IT BELONGS IN rhythm

  • Patented botanical ingredient
A patented longan flower extract standardized for corilagin.
  • Supports natural melatonin biosynthesis
Works within the body's existing pathway for producing melatonin rather than supplying melatonin directly.
  • Human clinical research
Clinical research has investigated its effects on melatonin, serotonin and validated sleep-quality measures.
  • Circadian pathway support
Supports enzymes involved in the biological pathway that converts tryptophan through serotonin towards melatonin.
  • Clinically characterized
Supported by in-vitro, animal and human research investigating its biological activity.
  • Built for the Recovery Phase
Selected for rhythm’s Recovery Phase to support the natural transition into rest, sleep and overnight recovery.
Saffron Extract

rhythm uses saffron extract from Crocus sativus, a botanical traditionally valued for its distinctive compounds and increasingly studied for its effects on mood, emotional wellbeing and sleep quality. Its key bioactive compounds include crocin, crocetin and safranal, which contribute to its biological activity.

Saffron's active compounds have been studied for their influence on neurotransmitter signaling, including pathways involved in serotonin availability. This is particularly relevant at night, when serotonin serves as a biochemical precursor in the body's natural melatonin biosynthesis pathway.

Within rhythm, saffron complements Deltatonin® by supporting the upstream side of the pathway. While Deltatonin® supports the body's melatonin biosynthesis machinery, saffron helps maintain the serotonin availability needed for that process.

For rhythm, ingredient selection starts with evidence. We chose saffron extract because it supports the biological environment surrounding the transition into sleep, helping promote emotional calm while complementing Deltatonin®'s role in the body's natural circadian pathway.

WHY IT BELONG IN rhythm

  • Clinically studied botanical
Saffron has been investigated in human clinical research for mood, emotional wellbeing and sleep related outcomes.
  • Rich in bioactive compounds
Crocin, crocetin and safranal are key compounds responsible for saffron's biological activity.
  • Serotonin support

  • Supports emotional calm
Helps support a calmer emotional state and reduce evening mental arousal without positioning saffron as a sedative.
  • Supports the melatonin pathway
Serotonin is the biochemical precursor to melatonin, allowing saffron to complement Deltatonin® within the broader circadian pathway.
  • Built for the Recovery Phase
Selected for rhythm's Recovery Phase to support evening calm and the biological transition towards sleep and overnight recovery.

Scientific Evidence

Circadian misalignment can disrupt hormone rhythms and metabolic regulation.

HUMAN CLINICAL STUDY · CIRCADIAN RHYTHM AND METABOLIC FUNCTION

Researchers investigated how misalignment between the body’s internal clock and daily schedules affects physiological function under controlled laboratory conditions.

What did they find?

  • Cortisol rhythm: Circadian misalignment reversed the normal daily cortisol pattern.
  • Glucose regulation: Blood glucose increased during circadian misalignment.
  • Leptin levels: Leptin, a hormone involved in appetite regulation, decreased.
  • Multiple biological systems: The findings demonstrated that changes in circadian timing can affect hormonal and metabolic processes simultaneously.

These findings show that circadian misalignment can influence several physiological systems in humans.
